("UniAdmire", "we", "us", or "our") values your trust and is committed to protecting your Personal Data in full compliance with Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK), the Turkish Employment Agency Law No. 4904 (İŞKUR), and applicable international standards such as the EU GDPR where relevant.

Account & Application Data: name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, nationality, passport/ID numbers, academic records, supporting documents, and financial details necessary to process university applications, scholarships, or payments.
Sensitive Data (if required): e.g., health records (vaccination), biometric identifiers, or special category data. We collect this only with your explicit consent.
Communication Data: emails, live chat, customer-support messages, survey responses, and feedback.

b. Data Collected Automatically

Usage Data: pages viewed, clicks, time on site, and interactions with our portals.
Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, cookies, log files.
Location Data: approximate location to meet visa compliance and provide tailored services.

c. Data from Third Parties

Partner Universities & Agents: information shared to verify identity, process applications, or provide scholarships.

2. WHY WE USE YOUR DATA

We process Personal Data only for lawful purposes permitted by KVKK Article 5/6 and, where required, with your explicit consent:

Application & Account Management: creating and managing student profiles, submitting applications, and verifying identity (KYC).
Business Operations: auditing, analytics, reporting, scholarship administration, and strategic planning.
Personalization: recommending programs and universities based on your profile.
Supporting Services: visa assistance, accommodation, banking/financial services, language tests, or insurance (processed with consent).
Security & Fraud Prevention: detecting unauthorized activity and safeguarding our systems.
Legal Compliance: fulfilling obligations under Turkish laws, court orders, or İŞKUR licensing rules.

3. SHARING YOUR DATA

UniAdmire does not sell Personal Data. We may share limited data only when necessary:

Universities & Educational Institutions: to process your applications and scholarship requests.
Service Providers: cloud hosting, payment processors, IT security partners, all bound by data-processing agreements in line with KVKK/GDPR.
Supporting Service Partners: housing, visa, or banking partners, with your consent.
Legal & Regulatory Bodies: when required to meet Turkish or foreign legal obligations or to protect rights and safety.

All third parties are vetted and required to implement adequate technical and organizational security measures.

4. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your data may be stored on secure cloud servers located in Türkiye, the European Economic Area, or other jurisdictions. When data is transferred outside Türkiye, UniAdmire ensures adequate safeguards (e.g., GDPR Standard Contractual Clauses or KVKK Board approval).

We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to:

provide Services and manage active applications,

meet legal/accounting requirements,

resolve disputes or enforce agreements.

Typically, student application data is retained for one (1) year after the last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law (e.g., İŞKUR audit obligations).

6. SECURITY

We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits, to protect your Personal Data.

Despite these efforts, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

7. YOUR RIGHTS (KVKK & GDPR)

Under KVKK Articles 11–14 and, where applicable, GDPR, you have the right to:

Access: learn whether your data is processed and obtain a copy.
Rectification: request corrections or updates.
Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): request deletion when processing is no longer necessary or based on consent.
Restriction & Objection: limit or object to certain processing activities.
